Giving Foundation for Children began in 2013 when 7 year old Madison Jayanna wrote and illustrated a children’s book to help a little boy named Tripp Halstead who suffered from a traumatic brain injury during Hurricane Sandy. After raising over $10,000 for Tripp with her book, Giving Foundation for Children was born and continues to help children with special needs, raising funds and raising awareness for the special needs community.
